
Kathmandu, Pokhara and Chitwan tour (8 Days)
This tour includes exploring ancient temples within Kathmandu, rafting on the Trisuli river, sightseeing around the beautiful Pokhara valley and an exotic Chitwan jungle safari.
First, you will enjoy a day of sightseeing around historic Kathmandu. The next day will be full of adventure as you raft down the Trisuli River to your next destination: Chitwan. You will spend the night in Chitwan and do a jungle safari the next day through the Chitwan National Park.
You will then head to beautiful Lakeside-Pokhara. The tour includes a full day of sightseeing in You could choose to bungy jump, paraglide, or simply wonder the countless shops in Lakeside.

Trip Itinerary:
Day 1: Kathmandu Arrival
Arrive in Kathmandu airport. Then transfer to Hotel.
Day 2: Kathmandu Valley City Tour
Enjoy a full day touring historic Kathmandu. You will see many world heritage sights including Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Swayambhunath Monastery and Patan Durbar square.
Day 3: Trisuli Rafting
You can see more of Nepal as we drive 3 hours to Charaudi where we will begin the raft. Beautiful scenery, friendly rapids and warm water is sure to make your rafting day exciting and memorable. After 2 hours of rafting, we will break for lunch and continue the raft to Kurintar where we will set camp for the night.
Day 4: Safari Excursion in Royal Chitwan National Park
You will explore the park first by canoe down the Rapti River. You can see Gharial as well as the elephant breeding center. After lunch, we will proceed into the jungle for a guided safari on an elephant’s back. You may see animals such as a rhino, antelope and other wildlife as you move through the jungle. After a full safari day, you will enjoy dinner and native Tharu culture dances.
Day 5: Chitwan to Pokhara
After breakfast, we will do a quick bird watching tour before driving to Pokhara. Pokhara is a place of remarkable natural beauty. The serenity of Fewa Lake and the magnificence of the Fishtail Peak rising behind it create an ambiance of peace and tranquility. Pokhara is a perfect place to see a panoramic view of Himalayan region including Annapurna and Dhaulagiri.
Day 6: Sightseeing in Pokhara Valley
We will wake early to drive 45 minutes to Sarangkot’s high peak to enjoy the sunrise. After breakfast, we will go sightseeing around Pokhara. Sights include the international museum, Seti river gorge, Mahendra cave, Devis fall, Bindibashini temple and the old bazaar. In the evening, we will enjoy an hour long boat ride on Fewa Lake. Pokhara is so beautiful, some may even wish to extend their trip to explore the World Peace Stupa or Begnas and Rupa lake.
Day 7: Fly Pokhara to Kathmandu
The quick 30 minute flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu is almost as good as a mountain flight, if you have clear weather.
Day 8: Depart home
On the final day, explore Kathmandu’s tourist district, Thamel, to purchase some souvenirs before you head home or use the day as you please!
