The Everest Region offers treks at the foothills of highest peaks in the world. The region is protected by the Sagarmatha National Park and is composed of rugged terrain and gorges. Elevations range from 2,845 meters to the top of the world, Mt. Everest at 8,848 meters. Mount Everest is known in Nepal as “Sagarmatha”, the goddess mother of the world.

To get to this region, you must fly into Lukla which is considered among the world’s most dangerous airports.  Adventurers are guaranteed to be overwhelmed with breathtaking views of snowy peaks, Buddhist monasteries, and friendly Sherpa villages making the flight well worth it.

Treks in this region are similar in difficulty to those in the Annapurna region; however, the altitude here is the biggest challenge.  Our treks are designed to allow for proper acclimatization.  Additionally, our guides are well trained and educated on the symptoms of Acute Mountain Sickness to ensure your safety and well-being.

Few are lucky enough to travel to this region of the world.  If you have the time, this is a must-see.  Perhaps you may even spot a Yeti here!
